Waking Up

Inner clock woke us up around 5am - All four of us ! But the good thing was, that we got a change to watch a very nice sunrise !

Breakfast

Breakfast was included within our hotel room prices, and it was a nice breakfast indeed. To Europeans, it was like a lunch! In fact, it was so filling, that we didn't eat until around 6pm ! 

Lake Worth

In our way to Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral, we decided to stop by at our travel agent, Aimotravel. They are located at Lake Worth, which was on the way. So we went and said hello to our travel agent, T. Norri, who booked our cruise on the Navigator of the Seas.

After few hours of driving, we arrieved to Kennedy Space Center around 1pm, which was a bit too late for "Nasa Close Up" tour. So we took just the  Admission (Adults $38/Children $28)... So just a small tip - If you plan going to KSC, go early!

The tour itself was OK, but since we came to KSC a bit "late" we really didn't have enough time to "see everything" that was available for our Admission Pass. In overall, we thought that our Visit to KSC was a small disapointment. Altrough it was very nice to see some space technology, and even a shuttle in launch pad (Well, from far away, anyway!).

Before leaving KSC we visited the KSC shops, and the Rocket Garden.

Driving Back to Miami Beach

We decided to drive back trough Interstate 1 "to see more" (instead Interstate 95), but since the sun sets quite early, there really wasn't that much to see. We also started to be hungry, so we decided to stop at  Dogs'R'Us  restaurant at Port St. John. While we were eating at DogsR Us, we noticed that there was a tornado warning on TV, given not too far from our current location. Altrough all we had was a little rain and some wind.

After driving less than couple hours, we decided to go back to Interstate 95, since there really wasn't anything to see in the dark, only same stores again and again. While on Interstate 95, we witnessed one traffic stop - We were driving by the limits, when we noticed Highway Patrol, watching speeds, and immediately after that we noticed one car driving noticeably over the limits. And in no time, the higway patrol was stopping the car in front of us.

Back to the hotel

Since this was only our first day in Florida, and we were still suffering from jet lag, we decided to get back to our hotel. We arrieved back there around 11pm.
